This package facilitates the\nstandardization of Cognitive Reflection Test responses analysis\nacross large datasets in cognitive psychology, decision-making,\nand related fields. By automating the coding process, it not\nonly reduces manual effort but also aims to reduce the\nvariability introduced by subjective interpretation of\nopen-ended responses, contributing to a more consistent and\nreliable analysis. 'reflectR' supports automatic coding and\nmachine scoring for the original English-language version of\nCRT (Frederick, 2005) , as well\nas for CRT4 and CRT7, 4- and 7-item versions, respectively\n(Toplak et al., 2014) , for\nthe CRT-long version built via Item Response Theory by Primi\nand colleagues (2016) , and for CRT-2 by\nThomson & Oppenheimer (2016) .\nNote: While 'reflectR' draws inspiration from the principles\nand scientific literature underlying the different versions of\nthe Cognitive Reflection Test, it has been independently\ndeveloped and does not hold any affiliation with any of the\noriginal authors. The development of this package benefited\nsignificantly from the kind insight and suggestion provided by\nDr. Keela Thomson, whose contribution is gratefully\nacknowledged.
